1. Who We Are
This application named Hermes is owned and operated by Jiaxing Fanyu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., a company registered in China.
Our business scope includes intelligent system development, cross-border marketing automation, and LinkedIn official page content operation.
2. Data We Collect via LinkedIn API
We only obtain data authorized by your LinkedIn account through LinkedIn OAuth 2.0 API, including the following information:
- Your LinkedIn personal basic identity information (name, profile ID, company page administrator identity);
- Public content of the LinkedIn company page under your management: corporate posts, article text, pictures, release time, comment content, interaction likes;
- Organization page basic metadata: company page ID, page industry, follower count.
We will not collect, store or obtain private sensitive data including personal mobile phone number, email, private chat messages, resume, personal address.
3. Purpose of Using Collected Data
All data acquired from LinkedIn is only used for internal business automation of Jiaxing Fanyu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., specific usage scenarios:
- Automatically publish, edit and delete public posts on the official LinkedIn company page;
- Read post comments and interaction data to sort out customer consultation information for business follow-up;
- Count page operation data (release volume, exposure, interaction volume) for marketing effect analysis;
- Debug and maintain the Hermes automation tool to ensure normal API function calls.
We will never sell, rent, share or transmit the obtained LinkedIn data to any third-party companies, agencies or individuals for commercial marketing.
4. Data Storage & Retention
- All LinkedIn page data is stored on our enterprise self-operated server, with access permission strictly limited to internal technical administrators;
- We only retain content data within the last 12 months; expired historical posts and comment data will be automatically cleared every month;
- You have the right to request us to delete all your associated LinkedIn data at any time. We will complete data cleanup within 7 working days after receiving your application.
5. Your User Rights Related to LinkedIn Account
In accordance with LinkedIn Developer Agreement and global privacy regulations, you have the following rights:
- Revoke the authorization of Hermes App to access your LinkedIn page at any time in LinkedIn account settings;
- Query all data records we obtained from your company page;
- Request to stop the automated posting and data reading function of the tool;
- File a complaint to LinkedIn Developer Support if you think we have improperly used your page data.
6. Third-Party Platform Statement (LinkedIn)
Our App calls the official open API of LinkedIn. All data authority follows LinkedIn's official data access rules.
LinkedIn's own privacy policy governs your personal LinkedIn account; this policy only applies to our Hermes automation tool's data processing behavior.
We will comply with all LinkedIn Developer Program terms and restrictions on data usage.
7. Security Protection Measures
We adopt the following technical means to protect your LinkedIn page data security:
- OAuth access token and refresh token are encrypted and stored, and will not be exposed in plain text;
- All API request channels use HTTPS encrypted transmission;
- Regular security inspection of servers, and prohibit unauthorized data export;
- Once we find data leakage risks, we will immediately suspend API calls and notify you to revoke authorization.
8. Policy Update Notice
We may revise this privacy policy according to the adjustment of LinkedIn API rules or business changes. The updated version will be published on this page, and the latest update date will be marked at the top of the document. Continuous use of the Hermes tool represents your recognition of the updated policy.
